If it were done to O Scale with correct curve radiuses how large would it be? The La Mesa Model Railroad club at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum have an HO scale layout set around the route the Tehachapi Loop takes. They're just about 20-40 miles short of having the whole route. So the O scale version o the Tehachapi loop would need o be about twice the size of they're loop. What would it be, 12x12, 15x15, or 24x24. It's would just be a big helix and those eat up space.

What ever they have you need to enlarge it to O scale by 182%    45x45.

I would say go for it, put in the new outback building complete with outdoor

toilet facilities. Parking lot for the show crowed from York. call it the Tehachapi Hall.

Remember you would also need an air strip to fly in the York crowd and them buses to get to the new hall, Hotel facilities t stay over night. Probably 5000 acres should do it.

No cell phones or back packs of any kind.

enjoy marty
