How do the T-Repro 116 (or other) Stations look? Are they exact replicas, or just close? I've seen photos and the windows look a little different. Thoughts from owners?

I've had many tinplate structures and at a quick look, I think the biggest difference is paint patina.
The major difference is the space immediately above the clock.
Lionel says LIONEL CITY. T-Reproductions are blank.
Also the two 'moon' shaped bases are 'grassed' and the edges 'flowered' by Lionel, T's are just painted.

Interesting. I have 2 116s MTH and T-Reproductions. My T-Reproductions has no name or clock. MTH has Union Station and clocks on each side.
The base is a 129B. Very few were ever produced by Lionel production 0 to under 5.
Dreyfuss thought you were going 100% original.

I am so far. Have been toying with the idea of a repro base for a while. All of the originals that I have seen come up in the last year or so have been really beat. I went down and did some measurements tonight and don't think i can swing it size wise anyway... so, I will be waiting for the right early-colored original 116 to come along.

In Four's A Crowd the 1938 movie there is a 116 on a 129-type base.

Is that the only known one.
