How do you remove a body shell from a Lionel SD38 Legacy engine??

I purchased an engine for a repaint project. I have removed the screws from the frame that allows the body shell to come loose but it can only be lifted a half inch from the frame??? Wires or ??? holding it. How do you get it off I do not see anything I can unplug to release it??

If it's moving up half an inch, it's free. Sometimes you have to slightly spread the sides and also you may have to move it slightly forward or backwards to clear obstructions.
