How fast do you run your trains?

I always thought I ran too slow....now I see I am in the middle of the pack with you all. Anywhere from 18 to 30 MPH via the DCS handheld. Depends on how many at once and how long.

Today, I had an 3 engine MU w/ 18 PW Lionel cars from childhood pulling on one loop at 25 and another unit running at 20. I always thought it was cause I was old, now I know it is because I am old and need to concentrate to keep them from hitting each other if I run over two trains at once!

I usually run 25-30 smph on my inner loop (O36), and 32-45 smph on my outer loop (O60).

because I run a lot at a muesum, the slower the better, so the public will stay longer.  but then again I run long trains that if run fast they de-rail.

In general I run the trains around 25 smph with DCS / TMCC.  Sometimes we run conventional let it run quick.  The Amtrak trains run faster when the kids run it.  I prefer slower speeds so the trains to not go around ever 30 seconds.
