Recently, I posted a link to an aerial video of the Huber breaker in Ashley Pa. sadly this iconic structure has been abandoned since 1976, and is now being demolished. I wasn't sure if I posted to the proper forum, but several who viewed had favorable comments. I am including a link to some short videos I have been filming during the demolition process. At present, work has stopped, as the 10 story main structure is slated for demolition some time in April. Several smaller structures have been razed, along with a 4 story section at the rear of the main structure, which has been the main focus of the videos. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be present for some of the more dramatic scenes. There are also other videos on you tube by others under the heading Huber breaker demolition. Ashley was served by 5 class one railroads, several of which had hauled coal from the Huber breaker.
