"I wish for Santa to take all those Daylight cab forwards that are pending shipment to dealers right back to the factory so they can get re-painted in good old engine black & graphite as they were intended to be."
Ah John, the magical day is soon coming (T minus 11 days and counting) till you can feast your eyes on these Daylight Cab Forward beauties. I will be sure to post a special photo of one on Christmas Day just for your added pleasure of this special day.
I want an official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200 shot, range model air rifle!
with a compass in the stock!
Dear Santa,
Bring me anything you would like for Chritmas (I think I've been a good boy  . But please, ask MTH to deliver their ES44 Christmas engines before Christmas, so that I can run a Christmas train at the modular display.
Peter
Good Health.
Spence.....you really hit the nail on the head......all this material stuff is just that....material stuff. What really counts is being here and being well.......
This past Tuesday I had a TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate). I am dealing with the aftermath....and needless to say, I have a whole new perspective!
Peter
Does it count if you buy your own? I've been busy!
And I believe Santa is bringing:
Thank goodness Christmas is only once a year!!
Peter; that sounds very painful. I wish you a speedy & full recovery. I had a kidney removed 1 year ago. (Cancerous tumors, not working) & the one I have left is operating @ 50% so I see a Nephrologist every 6 months. So far so good.

Hope you feeling better soon.

Who says there ain't no Sanity Clause...
I'm looking for, er I mean I hope st. Nick brings me a firemen set to go with the MTH Fire truck and firehouse accessory. I know MTH once made a set with the seated firemen figures that would fit in the fire truck. I have looked recently and all they seem to have are the standing firemen and people that were rescued from a fire.
Well my wife learned of the above wish and already took care of it! She bought three sets of these firemen figures at the dollar store of all places. I did a little grinding and was able to fit the figures in the fire truck as shown. I even have more figures to put around the firehouse. The other items on my list I may or may not have by Christmas. An MTH LIRR RS-1 and a working traffic signal.
Thanks for the best wishes everyone.......I am back at work part time.....just a little sore....and glad it's done!

Wishing you a speedy recovery Peter.
I don't trust Sandy Claws so I have been busy buying my own-and doing quite well, I might add. I must have been good.
Dear Santa, how about a Lionel Baldwin Locomotive Works I-12 Caboose and an MTH Premier CSX SD40-2? I'll say thank you when I see them under the tree on Christmas morning.
