I showed this to a friend today who has a an understanding of video production.
He said a"green screen was used to make this the video.

If it was real, there would have to be insurance, wavers and all sorts of stuff even before they got to moving train. It could be possible, but they would have to get all the legal stuff taken care of. Who knows.

May I suggest that your friend go to YouTube and search on "people are awesome" to find more videos and tell me if these are "green screen". BTW it may take a day or two as there are hundreds posted by people doing all kinds of insane stunts.
