Ok, I'm in Chicago O'Hare on my way to Indy, and jhust found out I'm on my own tonight for dinner and want to know if there are any hobby shops open on Mondays around town? I have a car...
Thanks,

Train Express on the north side of town
used to be a gentleman in Arcadia, on 31. 317-758-5729. LOCOMOTION
Train Express has a good selection of used and new.
ask to walk the isles, its kinda like walking around a
Sam's Club for trains..
Train Express would be a good choice because you will come into Indy on the NW side and it will be right there.

Since your heading to Indy, why not try WATTS train & toy shop at 9180 Hunt club rd. in Zionsville IN. (317) 8732365 They might be a large scale dealer, but they do carry z, and Ho, plus some (?) Lionel. They are a real family buss. and will go out of there way to help you. It's also a plus with the layout and **** displays. 50 years and counting and it's a great place to just take a break. About 10 min. from the interstate. WATTSTRAINSHOP.COM Have a great day and watch the roads. Bruce
My last customer visit was a mile away! Coincedence? I think not!
Mr Muffin, email sent...
Have a good business trip Mario. This is something I did regularly when I traveled extensively on business. I sure got to see a good many train shops all of the country.
It was a success! I was a mile from Train Express when I ended the work day, so that was an easy trip!
And to Mr. Muffin, all I can say is Awesome!...
Train Express is a must stop every trip to Indy!
Great to meet you Mario and thanks for stopping by. Next time we will run more NYC!

I cannot thank you enough for the time spent visiting your layout; it is everything that I hope to achieve with my own someday...someday.
In the meantime... here's a quick video I shot: Mr. Muffin's Trains.
MM, one more thing...
I diligently checked my files and finally found the scene in which the South Shore's Little Joes were used in freight service: it was in Green frog's NYC Odyssey part 1; disc 2...
It was taken in Michigan City, IN...
Thanks again!

Ok, So I was really lucky this week that our Wednesday afternoon meeting was canceled and I had time to go back to visit Mr Muffin (and met the wonderful Mrs Muffin, and the talented Mini Muffin), and took some great shots.
