How much weight should the crane be able to lift? Reason for asking is mine wouldn't work at all as the small drive gear was slipping on the shaft. Took it apart removed the small gear cleaned the shaft and the gear with lacquer thinner filed the shaft very lightly and them coated it with JB Weld slid the gear back in place then coated both sides of the gear with more JB Weld put everything back together gave it 24 hours to set up good. So far I have tested it wit 16 ounces of weight ran it up and down a batch of times and so far no slippage. So the question again how much weight should it be capable of lifting. Plans are to order the metal gears but it was the weekend so just started playing with it. I will order the gears today just in case.
