Hey all,

If you are looking for some figures for your layout, we have a bunch of 1/48th scale figures available through the new MTH site. If you jump over to the website; MTH Parts &Sales LLC

Navigate to Search Service Parts. Type in FIGURE and click search. There are a variety of O scale and One Gauge figures available.

You can also type in VEHICLE and click search. There is a variety of 1/64th & 1/48th scale vehicles available.

Just thought some folks could use some variety?

Thank you,
Mike Reagan

The Outback Toy Store - https://www.outbacktoystore.com/   has several sizes of cars, trucks and farm related equipment from O to HO, there might be a slight scale difference, but only the purist would balk at some of the things they have that no one else have if the scale is just a bit off.  I got a nice set of Allis Chalmers tractors for flat car loads that look accurate.

I was in Walmart a few years ago in the toy aisle where some toy vehicles were. I saw one that was somewhat smaller than the rest (it was a model of a full-sized American sedan, actually a police car ISTR) and bought it. When I got it home and removed it from its box, 1:44 was cast into the plastic floor. It is no more 1:44 than the Kitty Hawk is a destroyer. It scaled out to very close to 1:48 so one can not always depend on what is marked on the box or item and is significantly smaller than my Road Champs 1:43 police cars. I wish that they had more of that car.

Even the difference between 1:50 and 1:48 can be noticeable. The green R&T PCC is 1:48 and the red Corgi is 1:50:

Even allowing for the derailed car and camera angles, the difference is noticeable.
