It'll feel strange without Vince's Trains

"SEE IT, TOUCH IT, BUY IT" was Vince's logic,

That was one of the great things about his display.  Visual stimuli.  How many "impulse buys" were made on account of his setup?  I know I had my share.      I'll definitely miss seeing that.

Vince's absence will definitely be part of the changing dealer landscape.  Will be interesting to see who takes the space.

Sidetrack Hobbies brings pretty much exclusively Standard Gauge product to York, so they could definitely make excellent use of the larger booth space.  I guess we'll know soon enough.

I thought Vince's booth will be there, but Vince won't be. He didn't sell out like he wanted to at the last York and I thought the trains went unto storage there in York. Even if his booth is there it won't be the same without him.

I ran into Vince on Friday night of last York.  He said he was coming back.  He was originally going to put his inventory on consignment with another dealer, but he was having too much fun in York and said he would be back instead.   

Wow, it's been a while since I last posted. Although I will miss all of my customers and friends I will not be at the meet. I have been enjoying all south central Florida has to offer and making memories for my son to pass on to his children one day. I will be looking to update the website and perhaps return again, but not this april. That said have a wonderful meet. Enjoy what is truly special at York. Have that deal, meal, beer, or conversation with those special people in your life. I cherished my time there. Hope to see you all in the future.  All the best.....Vince

WOW Brian, I didn't know you were that old. Tis true though, we will miss Vince. 

Vince, why don't you want your son to grow up with memories of York? Was Trainpop that bad an influence?
