I'd like to do some upgrades on a few PS 2 & 3 Steamers. Has anyone hired JDS Limited to install these (steam chest, pop-off valve, or whistle smoke) and do you think it was worth it

I have seen his work at Springfield two years ago. Great work . He sometimes sells on da Bay as well. FWIW, I think its worth it especially you purchased an Older Ps2 or PS1 steamer at a deep discount

He's done PS2 upgrades for me; Weaver Cincinnatian, 3rd Rail PRR H6 and GN S2. I recommend him.

Jeff did a PS2 upgrade and lights to a Hudson for me. I didn't get the extra steam effects, since I don't run smoke because it messes with my wife's asthma. His work was good and reasonably priced I thought. I have seen videos of his steam effect, and they looked impressive, but you have probably see his videos too.
