Nice update. Great to see a young guy with such a nice layout. Also  great to see another model railroader into cars too!! I have been into cars and trains since I was 4 years old.

BTW....put a caboose on that coal drag!!!!

My current project...one of them...

AMCDave - Thanks! I can't believe the layout is 10 years old though. I'm ready to make the next one. Sadly I didn't have any era appropriate cabooses to put on.

And that's a sharp looking Mustang!

Nice video and update. That Supra is really nicely done. I think there tends to be an overlap of people who like cars and model trains. I also have the same affliction. I enjoy O scale models of Santa Fe locomotives and rolling stock as well as my extensively modified 1988 Ford Thunderbird. So in essence I have both a warm season and cold season hobby. It's rarer to see among younger people (I'm going to be 34 this year) as few of us have the $$$$ for both these hobbies, which are not cheap.

Lou, Great point about many people who like trains like cars too!  Just as I don't like modern railroading that much, I don't see anything built for the highway today that I really like.  My '04 Hyundai Sonata is the last of a breed in my humble opinion.  So I like steam and first generation diesels and like fewer and fewer cars as we rolled into the '60s and '70s.  Well, I'll be 63 soon, so that explains it I guess.  It's a nostalgia thing I suppose.

All that said, I do enjoy seeing modelers like Jason who run modern equipment and have modern vehicle on their layouts.  I just don't model that era.  Again, Jason you have done a fabulous job! and those autoracks look impressive!  (Makes me long for the open autoracks of the '60s.)  It was really cool seeing a load of Mustangs roll down the rails.

Just seeing these replies. Wow, Thank you all for the positive feedback!

E-UNIT-79: I included a track plan in one of my last few layout updates. I think maybe from a year ago? I'll try to dig up the schematic.

Dave : Thank you and I Hope I can start a new layout soon.

DRELO: I always appreciate those who have been followed my progress over the years. Hopefully I can continue for many more.

Mark: Thank you! And I though it was time for a more up to date photo haha.

DORFJ2: Thanks for the positive feedback.

Andrew: I've got a Buckeye shrine in the office of my new house haha. I was a member of TBDBITL

LOU1985: I've noticed the overlap too. And I think more of us are starting to share both of our hobbies which I think is great. And you're right, trains and cars ensures that you have a hobby for all seasons. I'm blessed to have a job that allows me to enjoy both. Your Thunderbird looks very clean as well! I'd love to see more young people get involved in the hobby. That's a big reason for doing the YouTube videos. I'm 28 years old and I'm still considered a baby in this hobby haha.

28? Well at soon to be 34 I feel like the old man now.

Jason,

I look forward to your new videos and Stockyard Express is a great place to purchase trains.  I stop there every time I head to Toledo to visit my friends and family.  Your cars neat.  That is not one of my hobbies because I have better luck fixing trains then cars.  I always cause more problems with cars and it ends up costing more for others to fix.  I hope your new house works out and I am sure you bought it with trains in mind.
