Anyone know the size of the jumper that plugs into the side of the Lionel 6-14181 Action Recorder Controller? I'm trying to source a CABLE with a female end that will fit over the pins so I can hard wire it to a small toggle switch. This would be a lot less tedious than having to slip that jumper on and off every time I want to reprogram. I KNOW that the jumper is the same size of the jumpers we used to use in the good ol' days in the back of PATA hard drives. I have those.

But, as I said,  I need a CABLE, if it exists,  with the 2 pin female end. I tried to measure as best as I could the distance between the 2 pins, and I come up with  3.0 to 3.2mm. I mistakenly ordered the wrong size- 1.25mm.

Here's the controller:

Now I really feel foolish! I have HUNDREDS of those in my Arduino Uno Experimenter's kit! Never thought of that. I COULD have just installed two separate female ends to the two side terminals of the ARC, and feed them into an adjacent small project box. I guess I really wanted the two pin.  Luckily I found a battery pack in my junk parts that just so happened to have the correct size female end, so I snipped the leads off, and installed the cable in a small project box, with a toggle switch at the top. I'm sure someone else has thought of this, but this was my simple solution:

By the way, even though in photos 3 and 4 you really can't see it, I TAPED the little black jumper that came with the ARC on the top, above the terminals, because you KNOW that's going to get LOST! I have OODLES of computer hard drive jumpers, but they are TINY, and would be a major PITA to have to slide on and off, should I go back to the old method of recording, or, if I decide to sell this. The jumper Lionel provides IS a little larger.
