Good to read trains are still running on the Calico Freight Lines!!  folks need their goods delivered across the desert, just like we do in the green hills.

There are no "trains" running around my Calico Freight Lines layout. 

There is only ONE train, my "Calico Freight Lines", running aimlessly around my desert wasteland, like Wagner's "Flying Dutchman Overture", sailing the seas forever with a ghost crew, never to find a port!

Similarly, my CFL will never find a warehouse siding and will never offload or take on any new cargo.

It's not a real train, and does not even pretend to be like a real train even reduced to its 1/48-scale world. It is in my Billiard Room (not a Train Room), only by consent of my Tournament-Size Billiard Table, which has kindly allowed a 124-foot perimeter around it to enable Calico Freight Lines to exist.

I don't have a Train Room like the rest of you...I have a Billiard Room in which a single train runs aimlessly around! The primary use for building the 500 sq. ft. addition was to be a Billiard Room...model railroading is secondary.

This is how I enjoy Model Railroading (whenever I do)...the simpler, the better!
