About ten years ago I acquired a used 2005 K3380-1361TC. A couple of years ago, a part of the left side linkage got jammed for some reason. It appears this was caused by a connecting bracket that loosened. I removed the shell, and then tightened the screw that fastened the bracket to the chasis. The loco ran well after that for a while but now and then the connecting linkage would jam. I found that one side of the underside of the bracket was bent slightlly but just enough to allow the bracket to move no matter how much force to the screw. I have searched the web and Brasseurs sight but no luck. I cannot find a part diagram to get a part number. Photos to be added.

I am wondering:

1. Has anyone parted out this model?

2. Because Lionel used the K-line chasis for its Legacy version, perhaps the part is the same and available from Lionel, but difficult to get a, diagram to get part number.

Any suggestions? BTW, I removed the connecting swing arm but left the bracket attached and the loco runs well as is.

This is encouraging,  I bought one of these new, and had what I believe to be the exact same problem but never delved into what the actual problem was.   I ended up removing the linkage as it was the only way the engine would run.

Now I am encouraged to unpack it after a decade, and take a closer look.  Thanks for posting the thread and thanks especially to Rick O for the part#'s and details.
