Korber Models Acquires the Assets of the Pecos Rivers line of scale model structures

Alex,  That is exactly what I need for a flat.  When will the parts be available online from Korber?  I like the TT style and I need to start modeling my own projects and that looks perfect for a starter....

 

Congratulations, I have several of Johns buildings and look forward to more. Maybe next time I am in Milford I can visit, my niece is mayor of Milford.

We will be targeting to get them up on the site post York, Targeting first part of may.

 

There are a lot of these kits to work through new instructions on.  We will have many of them at your, and others will follow.

 

We believe these will be very nice additions to many layouts.

 

How bout a 10 car spot? 

 

 

 

Actually it's really only a 5 car spot with a mirror  This is going to be a flat, and I'm just messing around with space at the moment. These were just left over panels from a couple kits I bought to build the diesel building I posted earlier.

 

If you put 4 wall sections between the loading doors, it's a perfect spot for 40' cars with Kadee couplers. I can shove all the way in and cut away and every car lines up centered on the doors.

 

If you put 5 wall panels between doors, you can get a few 50' cars to work with the centers being a little off, but still able to load/unload.

This is a good move Rich and I am sure will fill a need for more modern structures.  AND....another reason to promote in the magazine and on the forum!..

these will be a great addition to the Korber line. I have built a number of them in the past and I will admit of the hundreds of structures I've done, these were far from the easiest. I'm sure with Korber's expertise, the instructions and assembly process will be very much improved. and since the designs are so unique and when desired, versatile (for kit bashing), it's great to see this line of structures take on a new life. Comgratulations!

They do have a unique look for O Scale, and there are not many models I know of that are similar.

 

We will continue to bring new products to market. and of course they all can be purchased as a kit, or built up layout ready using our Korber Komplete service.

 

 

As long as I box quickly we will have some of these at York as well, a nice factory flat.

I was not familiar with the Pecos River buildings...but, as useful as the Korber line is

for kitbashing in a modular manner, these look like something that will have a lot of

applications.  O scale/gauge can well stand more buildings.
