I bought the Ecto-1 kit from EvansDesigns in 2019. I waited to install it on my layout until I located 1/48 scale Ghostbusters figures. Found them last year, so I installed the lights in the Ecot-1 and placed it on the layout with the "Real movies sounds & Speaker" installed as well. it worked great and was a big hit on the layout:
However, recently the sounds were more like a Duck almost quacking. I called EvansDesigns. We ran a test and they concluded the sounds/speaker kit failed, noting that rarely occurs. So, they immediately sent a replacement kit, no cost. Customer service like that is rare nowadays. Remember, I bought the original kit about 5 years ago! Amazing.
