Any interest in seeing Lionel produce a Legacy version of the NYC Mohawk which is being brought back to operating condition by the Fort Wayne Railroad? Earl G.

As much as I think that Lionel should bring back the L3a Mohawk (last one they did was back in 1998), I'd personally wait until the real thing is finished.
Gives me a chance to save up, first of all, but also gives a chance for Lionel to give it some specialized sounds and details off the real locomotive.
They ain’t got a decent L3 tooling, ….If they still have the old Pulmor tools, that thing is so dated, it’d take a miracle to re-tool it, …..but I know a company that’s got a killer L3 …….😁😁😁😁😆

Exactly right!!!!!!! MTH had the best version of the L3 and L4, and even offered the two road numbers that were equipped with roller bearing side rods.
Not only that, but I think they are hard to find as well, right? I think I have seen an L4 come back in the summer, but nothing else at any time. I'd talk to Pat to get one made, lol.
A friend of mine has an MTH L4 that was converted to Legacy with whistle steam. The thing is a beast. MTH quality and attention to detail with Legacy control and Railsounds . The best of both worlds.
Patience ..... Something may be coming!
As Dave said, patience.
I’m workin’ on it.

Hmmm. Maybe a good time for another brass hybrid.
If Rich is working on something, that means we should all be interested. After all, when Rich talks, people listen.....
