Just received my NYC     Lakeshore Limited tinplate train set. LCCA you have outdid yourself this     time. The set is beautiful.

  

FOLKS, The LCCA/LIONEL CORP. O gauge tinplate sets are starting to arrive at members home. i have posted an e-mail sent to me today by a happy member. thanks all for your continued support of the club.

WOW!  What a beauty of a set.... you really came through Lou! From the LCCA logos on the  master carton to the inner packaging and the set packaging... then the set itself... It has a real "look" to it... I kind feels almost Iveslike in its coloration, with the rich dark red/maroon and black coloration.  The striping on the cab and boiler are the coolest and the trim looks more nickel plated than chrome...a richer look IMO.

 

I am glad this set was done... Those that missed get on the list.  this is a good one!

Actually the whole family loves this set, my older "motor head" sons are blown away by the Cadillac metallic paint. This is way up on the COOL scale!

 

Both, professional railroaders like me, they concur that the New York Central "theme" with the Commodore Vanderbilt type loco and NYC car names just make this set awesome.  This is a home run Lou!!!!
