Any idea who made this one. It is big, STD Gauge compatible.

Steve, I love tinplate buildings of all kinds but that is really a beauty.
I would guess Marklin based on the style of doors.
Who's store is it displayed in ?
Ok, I was able to pick it and look it over. It’s Kibri.

Steve, can you possibly be at Big Y Yardage? I'm astonished that it would still be around.

John, it was at the Great Train Show in Pomona. It is now in my garage.
Anyone know the model number and year? I did not find it on the History Toys site.
Steve
I saw that thing at the show to-day, I purchased the 256 set that guy was selling.

I saw that set and noticed it was gone. Looked nice. I also bought the Dorfan clockwork set that Dave had.

It has some small issues, but nothing that can't be fixed. Was a pretty good deal overall.
How much did the clockwork set go for? It looked pretty nice.
Steve,
Nice score. I would have snapped that up in a heartbeat. Please keep us posted if you find any more details on it.

Brian, should have stopped at the layout in front and introduced yourself. There were a number of other forum members there. I packaged the station and Dorfan set together and got about $250 off. Still more than I wanted to pay, but a 157 steamer is one of the few missing in my Dorfan collection.
Steve
I didn't know, although I did look at the layout for a bit. I really liked that black standard gauge Dorfan electric locomotive that was running.

That was my layout. All Dorfan trains this weekend.

Steve,
I also cannot find this station on a site; you could compare the Kibri stamp on it with the examples here, which gives a period of production:

Not a real crisp stamping. Probably looks most like the Bahnhof 52/000 stamp.
