Last season I was looking for an older, larger Lionel steam engine. I ended up with a Century Club Niagara. I ran it a little and then passed it on to the next owner.
One of the things I noticed was during during slow speed operation there was a noticeable lurch. It kinda drove me crazy and hence the reason I moved it.
On youtube yesterday I noticed more than one video of engines operating in the same fashion.
Is that inherent of the steam made by Lionel during that time or a mere coincidence.
