I just purchased the Lionel Santa Fe F3 14588 with a powered B for ABBA. I created the lash up as directed in manual as tr19. I have a tpc300 as tr1. The issue I am having is when I bring the loco to a stop if I go too far counter clockwise with knob on cab1 it begins to lower track power! Also I can't fine tune loco as if I press the L or M it kills track power. I was thinking on assigning the A units and powered B as the same engine number and running it this way but not sure if it would work. Not sure why tpc is reacting to lash up directives. Any help is appreciated as I usually don't run lash ups as most of my loco's are steam.

I believe TR numbers on the Cab1 were 1 through 9. So using 19 probably is #one (1).  It would appear you are controlling both your TPC and the Consist via TR #1 at the same time.  Try a different TR #?  I have two TPC's assigned to TR #1 and #9 and use TR#2 through #8 for consists.

Best wishes
