I'm trying to create a lashup of a Legacy Powered F3A with a TMCC Dummy F3A.

I have control of the powered unit set to Legacy, and the dummy set to TMCC.  After building the lashup (Legacy unit being the head), the lights and coupler on the dummy unit do not respond to TR commands.  The dummy still responds to ENG commands using its TMCC id.

Is there any way around this issue?  I'm guessing it would work if I set the powered unit to TMCC mode, but I want to retain control over the Legacy features of the powered unit.

If you want to keep the powered engine's Legacy features, you are running them the right way and the dummy will not respond to Legacy lash up commands.  You could put the dummy in the lead so you have a rear coupler.

If you want the lights and coupler on the dummy unit to respond to lash up commands, you need to set the Legacy engine to TMCC mode and run the consist using TMCC lash up commands.  You will lose the Legacy speciific features of the powered unit.

Because the TMCC unit is a dummy, I don't think it makes any difference which position in the consist it is.
