Anybody go to the train show that was held last weekend (11/19) in Albany NY?  I did.

Lot's of Lionel trains for sale. Other brands and gauges too.  I think there were four operating layouts in different gauges.
IMHO, the show was well attended with both train enthusiasts and families there.

Thanks to Doug and Jeff for doing another great job!

Our next local show is Sunday December 4th at the Empire State Plaza, in downtown Albany, NY

I expect to be there.

I missed last week's show at the Polish CC but always go to the one at the Plaza.  Unfortunately,  I am a Post-war fan and they don't ever have a nice PW layout set up down in the pit, as it's all mostly other gauges.  Also, I think some of the vendors there are way out of line, with what the market can bear these days, but who knows, maybe I am wrong and there will be a bargain or two to be had for someone looking.

The Upstate Train Association, one of the two groups that cosponsor the show, brought their large "O" gauge layout to the show for many years. Unfortunately, due to dwindling membership, and the aging of club members, they had to stop bringing it to the show. I thought the December 2015 show was the first one without their layout, but I might be mistaken.
I believe the layout will be set up and running at the Schenectady Museum of Innovation and Science, as it has been each season for the last X years.
