Have tmcc with cab 1 and legacy with cab 2 hooked to each other with cable legacy came with. Using tmcc ZW with three 180 bricks. Occasionally get the zw to ramp up voltage to 15 or so but usually get no response or 5 volts occasionally. Forget how zw is programmed but I always have to hit TR1 on the cab1 and spin the throttle to get things going. Now all of a sudden after 5 years of operation this no longer works. TMCC base and legacy base have the lights flickering when I do a command but the zw is hit or miss with the green light flashing a little and the red flashing one out of 100 commands.
Also when I do get enough voltage to run, the led headlights on locos flash quite a bit indicating bad signal and they do act like they are not getting good signal- jerky and horn is intermittent.
Swapped bricks no change added jumper common wires and no change.
Anyone have an idea of what is going on, TIA.
