Does Lionel make an LC+ trolley, or is one in the works?

PDXTrains,
I have been waiting but have seen nothing from Lionel yet!

Hi PDXTRAINS:
I have five LionChief Plus locomotives on a large layout. They are the most popular with my grandchildren because there is no sharing the remote. They each get their own remote. I have never seen a LC+ Trolley.
Tuesday January 23, 2018 - Lionel will be releasing there first catalog for 2018. There will also be a live show on the same day.
This link will take you to Lionel’s Catalog Page: http://www.lionel.com/catalogs
Good Luck: Gary

I think LC and LC+ is wonderful technology. And I think there is a market for an LC trolley. I'm a buyer when they finally do it.

I thought trolleys just needed track power and bumpers? What would be the advantage of an LC+ one? I guess it would be nice if you were trying to simulate a trolley having multiple stops before going back down your Main Street

I think the cruise control feature would be a valuable addition for trolley running.
And the ability to make a stop anywhere and reverse from there is another feature that would be nice with the LC+ boards.
...if it were to be something other than an "electric bus"
Which will likely not be bump and go
A one touch timed stop feature on any of them would be cool.

Maybe you're right. Maybe what I really want is an MTH P3 Trolley, which--like the subways they offer--would offer station stops, an auto mode, and actually perform like a real trolley.
Gary, can you give a link to where you found info on a possible LC or LC+ street car?

Hi Frank: There is no LC or LC+ street car or trolley. We were just speculating on the new Lionel Big Book 2018. We only found the bumper type cars.
Hope this helps: Gary
Not in the big book this time. I would be in for a couple of LCplus versions. The bump and go does not do it for me anymore.
I would go for a LC+ trolley. I have a WBB Peter Witt street car. I wonder if I could fit a ERR command board in it.
Gentlemen,
I would love to see a Pittsburgh, Pa Street Car with more Great East Side of Pittsburgh stop announcements. I would purchase one very quickly, would even Pre-Order this one.

The MTH P2 Pittsburgh Street Car. With Auto P2 functions for planned stops, and voice announcements from my buddy Frank.

I mentioned this is the Lionel wish list thread. What I'd really like to see is a LionChief + version of a new model with Railsounds. Long overdue. Even better if they included a feature where you press the station sounds button on the remote and the car will automatically pause, go through boarding/unboarding sounds, and then ring the bell and resume. You should also hear the compressor cycle at idle.
My personal preference would be the Osgood Bradley electromobile, which ran in Scranton, Altoona, on the Queensboro Bridge, and in New Bedford (The ECTM in Scranton is restoring the last known example).
