November 2 - Norfolk VA - An evening with S-Gauge trains for CHKD

“An Evening With Paul Sharp and His S-gauge trains for the benefit of CHKD” Norfolk VA, November 2, 2013 - The Lionel Collectors Club of America is proud to announce another LCCA Special Event in Norfolk VA, “An Evening With Paul Sharp and His S-Gauge trains for the benefit of CHKD”  CHKD is the local Norfolk VA  Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.  On Saturday, November 2, 2013  from 5:00-10:00  PM LCCA member Paul Sharp will host an open house and toy train auction charity event at his home in Norfolk VA.   Admission will be $30/person for a fully catered dinner event including beer/wine.   Personal invitations will be mailed about October 1.  So if you are interested in attending and participating, please contact LCCA member Bruce Goettel at 757-481-4972 prior to October 1.  We will have a live auction as well as a silent auction.    All proceeds from donations, as well as portions  of the live auction and profits will go to benefit the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.  Auction details to follow, but we will be able to handle reserves as consignments.  All attendees will be allowed to present a number of items per person to auctioned off.  All Items must be train related.

Paul Sharp has a vast collection of American Flyer S-Gauge trains, two impressive S-Gauge operating layouts as well as an game room center full of many arcade and video games.  Paul’s home was a featured layout tour during our 2012 42nd annual convention held in Norfolk VA.  The LCCA is proud to be going back to Norfolk and meeting with our members at Paul’s place again.  If you missed out in 2012, you will not want to miss this LCCA Special Event. 
 
This will be a great, fun, train filled evening event while benefiting a worthwhile cause, the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.  Thank you Paul Sharp for hosting this fun and worthwhile event.   The Local TOGA (Tidewater O-Gauge Association) train group’s LCCA members will be volunteering to help out with this great event.
