Toy Train Auction - April 28/29

Lionel Collectors Club of America and the Colorado Toy Train Group, LLC, will co-sponsor their next toy train auction at The Ranch Country Club in Westminster, Colorado.  The April 28 and 29, 2012 toy train auction will offer bidders an incredible array of Standard and O Gauge trains and accessories.  There are 700+ lots from American Flyer, Ives, Lionel, and MTH trains.  Bidders will find 19 electric engines, 8 steam engines, 40+ passenger cars, and 75+ freight cars in Standard Gauge.  In O Gauge, bidders will find 9 post war diesel engines, 35 pre and post war steam engines, 15 MPC and modern diesel and steam engines.  Additionally, there are 40+ lots of accessories, including track and transformers.

Wide Gauge collectors will find many American Flyer Wide Gauge trains, like 4000 black, 4000 green, and 4019 maroon locomotives; 4000 series freight cars; Pocahontas 3-car passenger set; 2043 semaphore; and 1200 series passenger cars.

Lionel Standard Gauge: 384e and 385e steam engines; multiple 8e electric engines, 500 and 800 series freight cars; multiple 219 cranes; 35, 300, and 400 series passenger cars; and accessories like 61 lamp posts, a 94 tower with OB, 92 floodlight, 103/104 bridges and approaches, 115 station, 129 terrace, and 280 and 300 bridges.

Rounding out the Standard Gauge selection are multiple T-Repro items, like: 129 terrace, 166 station. 435 power station, 438 signal tower, and 444 round house sections.  Additionally, early MTH-Lionel engines include: 400E grey locomotive; 9e, 381e, and 408e electric locomotives; and the Presidential locomotive and passenger car set.

O Gauge collectors will find: AF 429 switcher and freight cars; Ives: 3243R green locomotive; post war 2600 series Madison cars, with and without silhouettes, 2023 Alcos, 259 steam engine, and ZW transformers.

Multiple lots of Plasticville, Lionel catalogs, and paper, including Modelmaker magazines round out the 2-day auction.
