Anyone have any thoughts on this... turn train on with tmcc enabled and railsounds come on... train wont move... and cant seem to re-id the engine...if i put it on signal sounds the sounds and horn work.

If i unplug the command base to make it conventional same result as tmcc...only engine sounds...

Does anyone know if this part would work for this engine?

Lionel PCB 6108846106 LCRU RAILSOUNDS 2.5 PLATFORM CENTENNIAL GP-9 & Others NOS!
Great Part for ANY Lionel Engine Requiring the 2.5 Platform or Kitbash and add to another Engine. This PCB will fit LCRU Centennial GP9 & Other Engines. Look up your Engine # on the Lionel Website to see if this is the PCB Part# 6108846106 for your Repair

David,

It might indeed be the LCRU, but then again maybe not.  I'd hate to buy an expensive electronics assembly and then find out that it wasn't bad to begin with.

If it's an LCRU version 2 then you can try a  reset by pushing a button sequence on the Cab remote.  That's what I would do first.

With Lionel's new parts website just coming online this week I haven't been able to find your model, so I can't tell whether it's version 1 or version 2.

Do you know which one it is?

Mike
