Is Lionel still planning to offer the Base 3? I ordered one a long time ago and have yet to receive it.

Check out this video for most of your Base3 answers.
Okay, it sounds like it is still a go. I did not watch the entire 1 hour and 38 minute video. All I want to know is when will it be shipped to those of us who have ordered one?

Whenever it arrives- plus a few days depending on how far down the list of people you are with the vendor you pre-ordered it from.
Besides- even if we had an exact date- you know that will incur delays....
I could say June- and be right, just the same as saying not this month, and probably not February.
In other words about 2 years after I ordered it!

You guys must have not been around when Legacy was announced and shipped in close to the same time frame (actually announced in 2006 Volume 2 and delivered in December 2007) without a pandemic and supply chain issues. It was about a year and 10 months.
I was around then, Marty. Look at when I joined the Forum. I got my 1st Lionel train in 1958. I love Lionel products and playing with Lionel Trains, but I refuse to be a cheerleader for Lionel, especially when I've waited over 2 years and can't even get a straight answer to a relatively simple question.
They can only give you an answer based on what they know. Weather production times, testing, or development. I’m eager for it as well. Who’s cheerleading? I post what we know rather than guessing. I’d suggest watching the entire video. There is some good information in there.

Good afternoon,
I think the reason you're not getting much traction here is because Lionel, especially Dave Olsen, has answered this in several threads, with what he knows.
There have been long topics about his onsite testing recently at some very large train clubs, and using that to fine-tune the product.
I am also on the list to get one, and am happy they are working to make it as perfect as it can be when it is released. That's not cheerleading.
