Legacy For Lionel GP-35

Feel into a really good deal for a brand new Lionel GP-35 Union Pacific markings. Never meant to get into Legacy BUT now that I have one and a 9 year old son who is itching to do legacy.

What do I do next? We have 2 9x10 foot layout using Fas-Trac. It's powered by 2 Lionel CW-80's fom sets and a we have a 1950's ZW running the accesories. Any help would be appreciated

find a legacy system plug it into a good ground and attach the wire to the outside rail. program your GP35 to a number of your liking and run your train. yes it is that easy.
