I’m looking at a new project and need to know of there is any difference in the Pittman motor encoder PCB of early Modular Legacy vs the PCBs used on motors with the RCMC. There’s obviously different part numbers but is the functionality the same or would the old Encoder confuse a RCMC

heres the encoder that’s on the motor I have

here’s the encoder that belongs with the RCMC and Pittman motor

Thanks in advance

Thanks @Lou1985

I figured that would work but I was really trying to see if I can save the $16-$20 on a new encoder PCB. It’s not that huge of a deal but I was mainly looking to see if there is any difference (other than the PCB layout/ substitute parts) in functionality of the older modular encoder and the newer RCMC encoder. I have RCMC equipped locomotives I might just have to take a close look at the PCB and see if I can’t tell myself
