Is there a way that I can place two trains on different areas of the same mainline and control them both at the same time? Giving them the same speed so they don't catchup to each other?

For example, with DCS I can tell it that the two engines are lashed up as a "train". Once this is configured, when I give said "train" throttle they both respond as one. So they both keep the exact same speed.

Is this possible with Legacy?

Thanks in advance.

Lash ups are really easy. Do you have the Legacy manual to follow the steps?

Keep in mind with lash up best to use all Legacy, don't mix in TMCC engines. When running lash ups you can easily single out any engine and do what you want with it. To get back to the lash up just press the TR button. Not all Legacy engines respond the same to the engine 99 command, newer ones do.

If you don't have manual someone will post steps.  Legacy ver 1.51 allows all engines to sound. Also it's easy to set engine direction if you have trains already on track in different directions. You will have a all with this, I often run 5 full trains at once this way and bounce around to control whichever one I want seperately.

Gromet, Jeff is right. You can see how to build a lashup on page 60 of the manual. Once the train is built you can get them out and running as a train (TR button) and then cycle to the engine (ENG button) number of each to blow only there horn or to make a small speed change for a second to even them out and then switch back to the train and run them again as a unit.
