Does anyone have an electronic copy of the 1.4 Legacy User's Guide? Also, there was a summary of what was changed from 1.3 to 1.4, but I can't find that either.

The things that I know of are ZW-L provisions and the REL 100 for the ERR support.
How exactly does the ERR 100 step support work, is there a setting for the ERR? Currently, you just use CAB1 emulation for it to work properly, but you lose other features of TMCC control.
Here ya go John:
The majority of those were in 1.3.
Thanks Rick, but they're too small to read! From what I see in the tiny print, there's no mention of ERR 100 steps.
I think most of that was copy and paste from 1.3.
The only changes to V1.4 manual was Pg 50 Sleep timer
changed from 1,2,4 hours to 15,30,60 minutes. The System
Settings picture still showns 2 Hours, which is incorrect.
Pg 82 was changed to remove the listing of people
who worked on Legacy.
So, what I heard about this improving the function of the ERR 100 speed steps was not true? Bummer!
Not true. The ZW-L components and the REL 100 are there but besides that there wasn't much new. The REL 100 is for the ERR.
It was in my first response to your post. It wasn't in the manual though.
Thanks Marty. I was wondering how the ERR mode was invoked. I was at our club and looked at a 1.4 CAB2, and I don't see any mode that would turn it on. Looked the same as 1.3.
Instead of choosing Cab1, TMCC, or Legacy, there is an additional selection called REL100.
Ah Marty, there's the rub! I don't have a selection for that, and both of mine say they're at 1.4, base and cab.

I'll check when I get home this evening. Maybe it was in my BETA software.
Interestingly enough though even Rudy from Lionel stated that it was in 1.4. Look at the last post on the first page in the LSU thread.
I'm really bummed, that was the reason I bought the black modules and was frantically searching for the 1.4 upgrade!
It was in the LSU software you could select the option. It would mess up that engine when I tried to upload it to a 1.3 system. I hope this option work for the 132? step K-Line engines.
I will LEAP into the LSU software and see if that works! Thanks, I was wondering if that might be an option.
Hey guys, I have had the legacy system v1.4 for about a month...rel 100 is in there where the blank on gunrunnerjohns screen shot shows. Did not know much about it but my older tmcc diesels and atlas o diesels seem to run the best with it. On the screen though you lose the momentum graph when you dial in rm100. I think it is 100 speed steps.
I can't select the REL100 "blank" spot, so there is no option. I'm going to fire up the LSU and see what it says.
Well, I managed to get it into REL100 mode, but it was uninspiring. First off, when you go to select it in the LSU, it says REL100 (unsupported), doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
I selected it anyway and fired up the locomotive. It had all sorts of issues. It wouldn't go into reverse, even though the directional lights changed! It would only go forward. It also lost all the TMCC enhancements anyway, so I might as well run in CAB1. That at least works.
This was a standard TMCC locomotive with the ERR Cruise Commander M, I'll have to try it with the ERR Cruise Commander stand-alone board, but I don't hold out much hope.
