Yes...I am with you Mark...."Moonson's" layout is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen!

Here's a few photos of our small layout.
Could you post a diagram of your layout please? I need some ideas, and I like the looks of yours.
Later, after work, I'll try to include a diagram of our layout. It's basically two loops of track (one inside the other) connected on one side. The inner loop has a reverse loop and two sidings. All curves and switches are O-48 fastrack. The entire layout is 5.5ft by 11.5ft.
Here is a very basic diagram of our layout. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions. Thanks!

Thanks! Any and all ideas help me as I try to plan.
I am brand new to this site and these pictures are amazing! Some day, I will move from the floor. I am simply going to have to accumulate until I get a house with some room.

I'm with you Goshawk. Except I do have a house, but no room!
Explanation: Once the two daughters move out, I should have some room. I hope.

Great looking layout, Clem.

Clem,
I'm glad to see you joined in the fun. Looks great! Thank you for the history of your layouts.
Here's a panoramic shot I took with my phone. It's my Eastern & Western Railway since it's entirely fantasy and made up of an unidentified NJ town and the American Southwest. The trolley was the only thing in motion when I took it so it looks stretched out to three times its normal length.

Jim how long did it take you guys to set up that layout at TRAINFEST?
My layout is a work in progress but it looks a bit childlike right now but I will be getting more realistic scenery for it

This is the train shed 14x18 foot.A bit hard to fit it all in ,real life & photos.
Panoramic photo with an iPhone...will be adding one more 3ft x 7ft extension to the left front outer edge of the current layout and will have a single loop with a couple of staging sidings and industrial accessories...of course, as usual...it is all subject to change.

Fit it in,you did! That's a lot of nice railroading in 14 x 18!!

That's a neat perspective of your layout! Your extension will compliment it however you end up making it. That is why I don't too excited about having a detailed plan to start.
