Bryce,
Those look more like the Daleks from the old Peter Cushing Doctor Who movies from 1965 and 1966. If you haven't seen them, you haven't missed much.
Nice find!

Thank you Jonathan! These Daleks are from an English Company called "Character Building." They made several other Dr. Who Villains: Cybermen, Weeping Angels, The Silence, Sontarans & the Vashta Nerada to name a few... I like to think the Matt Smith daleks are a tribute to the "classic," colorful daleks as seen in the Peter Cushing movies (Yes, I have seen the movies and I actually like them )

Well, it looks like that the Daleks got reinforcements (I received a large shipment of 40+ Daleks, Cybermen, & Zontarans)! Looks like the good Doctor is now in real trouble. These monsters from Outerspace ignore a pullman train passing since the real threat is in the little blue box!
The pushbutton accessory plays this sound file (the sound of the Tardis flying)

Are your Cybermen and Sontarans O scale?
Greetings from the tunnel interior.
LOOKOUT, FROSTY!!!!!
After an escape from the neighboring zoo, a guest tuba player joins the church chamber orchestra.

Okay - I'm a grown man, and the weeping angels still freak me out more than any of the villians!
Here's one that Mitch might like...an unscheduled off load of the giraffe car led to this scene at the station.
Best Wishes

They are kinda close but as they are toys, they are slightly big and chunky compared to 1/48 figures. I plan on getting more prototypical Cybermen 3D printed in the near future

Don't Blink! You just gave me a fantstic idea: a Weeping Angel in my cemetery, only those who are Dr. Who fans!

Are they headed to the zoo?

Where did you find this figure Randy? I love it

@Oscale Trains Lover / Bryce : Re the giraffe's leaving the train...No not headed to the zoo, they are just going into the Depot snack bar for a cup of coffee!

haven't been on this forum since forever
I've had a number over the years, whimsy seems to be quite popular for visitors more so than the scenery or the trains, I guess it's more relatable to them than the trains.
Lost In Space B9 robot
A polar bear and Ray Lewis
Sponge Bob and company
Zombies
Bumble, Sam The Snowman, Rudolph and Minions
Tardis
Jerry
@baltimoretrainworks I must ask: where did you get the Lost in Space B9 Robot & the zombies? I have an unused Jupiter 2 that I can put B9 with and the zombies would make a fun scene for Halloween

I got the Walking Dead figures from Walmart several years ago, they are McFarlane "blind" bag figures meaning you don't know what you get so I did go to Ebay and bought some that were already opened so you knew what they were. They still show up a lot on the Bay as do the prison building sets. The B9 is a Johnny Lightning figure I picked up at a Greenbergs train show in Timonium.

Don I am sorry but I must correct you. Them thar are Gee-rafs. And you need to be watchful, they can cause trouble once off loaded from their railcars. Just ask Mitch.
@coach joe. Gee-rafts. Well no wonder folks were concerned in the depot. I just thought they was longhorns with long necks - like “Lone Star “ beer. !!
best wishes Joe

At Alan's request, I post here 2 more photos of my rat infested NYC subway station near my Popsicle Stick Yankee Stadium.
This scene, showing rats carrying slices of pizza down the subway entrance, was inspired by a Facebook post that went viral showing a real rat carrying a slice a pizza down the stairs into a NYC subway:
By the way, this entertaining forum topic was not started by me, but rather by my good friend, Bryce Manz. Arnold
PS: the O scale rats were a gift from my good Forum friend, Malcolm.
Continuing my Trains-formers antics with this one.
"In the middle of main street, the evil Decepticons, Megatron, Starscream, and Astrotrain have landed to plunder the town of it's resources, but the heroic Autobots, Optimus Prime, Hotshot, and Bulkhead stand ready to thwart their plans!"
Patrick,
I saw the above picture and immediately knew it was from you. RC3R’s were at the Chesterfield Fair this past week and a number of kids who are interested in transformers and trains were there.
I guess you could say it was “TRANS”formative.

Look out, Frosty!!!!!
Superman protects the city of Christopolis.
Snoopy and his Beagle Scouts take a ride across the harbor.
The Disney marching band parades through the park.
My scratch built frozen ice skating pond has a Zamboni ice smoothing machine with an ad for our local newspaper, The Advocate. The pond has very strong ice, 1/8 inch thick, that supports the heavy Zamboni.

My existing "G" just didn't impress, so after a couple weeks of printing the big "G" (almost to scale) was ready to paint. Now the only problem is he'll have to go into storage until I get the new house.
-Mike in NC,
Great posts with fun features on the layouts. Here's some of mine from the GFRR: Grandpa's Funtastic RailRoad. Check out the creature under the dock.
How about the uninvited guest into the camper van?
Or the King Kong-like creatures on the bascule bridge?
Then there's the skateboarder who could not resist a ride in the station!
All part of the "funtastic" railroad! Enjoy!
Michael
Here is a Homemade Lionel 6407 Flat Car with an Homemade Fat Rocket. This homemade rocket can hold a homemade Mercury Capsule but NASA would never transport the rocket with the Capsule attached.
But since Lionel transported the Mercury capsule on the rocket we can too.
