Gorgeous... My dream would be that Lionel buys 3rd Rail (or vice versa...! ) so you could marry this kind of gorgeous detail with Legacy.

How does it run?

Ben,

I agree with you about Legacy being available for 3rd Rail, etc.  I wish there was some solution that could work for both companies.

It is a very smooth running engine.  It will creep along nicely

c.sam, a nice collection of some of the cars I've driven.  Those English sports cars were a lot of fun to drive.

However, the only one I couldn't drive (too tall) was that twin-cam MGA, a very rare car in those days. They had a bad reputation for keeping tuned, but they were very cool and quick when they ran, in those days.

Very simple concept. British cars from that era were made for the tinkerer .
If you couldn't tune an SU carburetor the SU stood for Scr U ed

I loved my MG.

I don't have the curves to handle a WBB GG1, but I did get something at the blow-out sale from Micro-Mark.

I've wanted a Virginian Rectifier for quite a while and finally bought one.  It arrived yesterday.  I wired the motors in series, replaced the headlights with LEDs(warm white), fit in a modified a Lionel cab interior, and added some RailKing engineers...now I have one fine electric.

The blasting crew will be out soon, to heighten the tunnel to allow electric pantographs and Husky Stack cars.

That is sweet.  Although I have three pieces of rolling stock in the scheme, I'm not that excited about most of the MTH deco items, but this one is extremely nice.  They did everything right with the paint.  Enjoy

Another WBB Baldwin 10-wheeler.  My fifth.  I will leave it in the box for now (picture one).  I have project plans for it, bashing, etc.

Most interesting thing is this.  I ordered it from MB Klein (modeltrainstuff.com)- and as usual it arrived promptly within three days.  Note, however, (picture two) the address and company Bachmann sent it too.  Interesting.  Did not/still do not know if there is actually ac onnection between these two companies, but maybe others know.

There is no connection that I know of between Williams by Bachmann, MB Klein's and Walthers.  The vendor MB Klein just left the shipping labels on.  It all depends on where Klein's gets the best price on the products they sell.  Walthers probably had a better deal on Williams by Bachmann that day.  At tmes the manufacturer is not the least expensive.

As we are becoming more affiliated with the parent company, they have insisted that we operate more of the signature motive power so we have traded for/purchased several diesels in the Warbonnet colors over the summer.

It's great that this thread is still going as well it should be. No one has stopped acquiring new trains have they?

Oh?    sorry to hear that Scott.....

This C-Liner is such a homely critter that it may just give up its innards and be relegated to the back lot!
