A strawberry special departs Caprock, Texas.  Lighter green Railway Express reefers are Sunset (brass) and the dark green Santa Fe/Railway Express reefers are Golden Gate Depot (plastic).

Those are some awesome trains on a gorgeous layout! Always enjoy seeing your layout in action Tom!

@CAPPilot Love the flatcar with the two Tuckers. Definitely pinpoints a particular year.

I really like my chlorine tank car because it is unique.  Here it is after I replaced the trucks, which were crumbling due to zinc pest.

I did not take pictures of the flatcar's broken trucks, but I did take pictures of my Sunset 6-dome tank car that had the same issue.

Here it is after I installed Atlas trucks.

While active as a collector/operator of O-gauge trains with Rock Island décor, I purchased this RI TA diesel loco from Sunset 3rd Rail.  Expensive, but worth it. I purchased it knowing upfront that I could not run it on my home layout because of its limitation with O42 max curves. It rests on a display shelf and waits for me to add a wing onto the house for a larger layout.
