Lighted Bumper for Atlas Track

The Lionel Die-Cast bumpers, #260's or the new version of the 260's work perfect.

I made my own using a Gargraves bumper and adding a red LED.

I used a pair of Lionel lighted bumpers on a bump and go trolley with AtlasO track.  Haven't had any problems.

Aren't those Atlas O bumpers with an LED added?

I fabricated my own lighted bumpers using Atlas bumpers and Radio Shack part# 272-0360 lamp bases.

Attached are pics of them after being built. They will still need to be cosmetically finished for use on my layout.

These are the Lionel bumpers that can be used with Atlas O track.

I have found these particular Lionel lighted bumpers to both work, and be complementary to the Atlas.  

They are the number 260 units from Lionel, and sell for around 12-15 per set of two.

I don't know if Lionel made more than one kind of bumper that looks like what you pictured.  If not, then I do have some.  I had ordered track bumpers from an Atlas vendor who told me they were not available from Atlas.  If my older ones (late 50's and early 60's) will work, then problem solved.  Did you have to do any modifications to them to fit correctly?  Did the light work?
