Did you sub a regular terminal track in for the lighted set terminal track?

@Charly

Check out the thread below. Lots of good information on Lighted FasTrack.

Generally, you can do just about anything you want with it. Consider it identical to regular FasTrack other than the lighted aspect.

I removed the cover from the bottom of one of the pieces and wired on my own connecting wires (using .110 spade connectors on the bottom) to eliminate the terminal piece that came with my loop of track.

No but I thought about it.  Then I decided to connect to the lighted track the same way the 12016 terminal track is connected.   This is the terminal track that has the connection wire coming out from under the track base, not the plug in type.

That wire is plugged in to the rails on the bottom of the track using spade connectors.   I removed the cover from the bottom of the lighted track, put the small spade connectors onto the same tabs on the lighted track and screwed the cover back on.

If I was using the plug in type terminal track I'd just put it behind the my Christmas tree out of site. Will not be any issue.

Trainworld.com does have a lighted Fastrack terminal track with the pug in connector. It's "Lionel #2025070 Lighted Track Power Pack".

It has the 10" Lighted Terminal track and another 10" lighted track.
