Have the Lighted Figures been cancelled? They were first in the 2019c2, 2020, and now 2021. What's the deal with this?

I am still waiting on the lumber load insert for the 50' bulkhead cars from 2019. I looked at the shipping schedule and they are not on there.

Yet shown in 2021 catalog? And for those interested they were originally made by model power so Google them and you may catch them in the after market.

They do work - the cigar guy’s stogie glows like he’s puffing on it. The problem with these Model Power figures is that they are quite big - full O scale plus. Really too big to use inside a passenger car, for example, and even look large as trackside/station figures.

I've made lighted figures and it is not obvious to me how to manufacture them and make a profit unless you have access to extremely cheap manual labor. A couple photos from a previous OGR thread modeling a flashlight using, like Model Power, fiber-optic and LED "technology":
