A very beautiful, and well detailed unit I purchased from a fellow forum member! All original, with shipping boxes! Took her apart, which was rather nerve racking with all the little detailed components attached. Cut the sleeve off the smoke element, put some wick material in and she's smoking beautiful! Gave her a service and she's running nice and smooth. It helps that she was well taken care of by her original owner. Now, to wait for the scale milk cars and smoking NYC caboose I ordered. I'll post a video then! Hope you enjoy.

Nice addition, Donnie. Can never have enough steamers… or Hudsons… or New York Central…
Donnie - Nice engine. Good luck with it

Nice Donnie,
You've come a long way in this hobby - Run and enjoy it - as it was meant to do
Donnie...great engine, but I was recommended to not run it hard...the running gear is fragile...but with normal use should be no problem. I've had mine for years...no trouble...good luck, joe

Exceedingly well said.

John- I have somewhat refined my train pallet over the last couple years. All thanks to you, your blog, and other helpful forum members! I think this and the 785 will do it for scale hudsons. As close as I'll probably ever get to a 700e and 763e.
Joe- I won't push her too hard. Just 3 scale milk cars and a caboose.
These last two engines have been a little out of my comfort zone. Most of what I have is pre and postwar. Liking these LTI Lionels though. I think with these higher quality engines such as these and my 226e I'll be looking into 031 profile Menards track soon to replace all the older track.
