Do any LHS have customer copies of the new catalog and have begun passing them out??

Probably late this week or early next. As of Saturday they hadn't appeared in print. When the catalog was released they said about 2 weeks for a hard copy.
Since build-to-order numbers (BTO) are due from dealers earlier October, does this give them enough time to solicit numbers? Maybe Lionel should consider moving back there order dates a month to let folks study the catalog more.

Anyone can pre-order right now. OGR Forum sponsors have been taking pre-orders for the past two weeks. For those who prefer to wait for the catalog in print, they can pick it up, page through it and place their pre-orders all within the next three weeks.
I have to believe that the early October deadline is fairly important to Lionel since most of the design work and all of the production work can't begin until Lionel is sure any one product has enough demand.
Some people's patience is already tested by the current catalog-to-delivery time lag. I don't think people would be too happy to have to wait another month just so someone can study a catalog for so many weeks.
