I am trying to put my bridge back together. Last night there was a post on the forum that had a 22 page attachment that showed how to reassemble it. I tried to print it but had trouble and didn't get the pages I needed. I tried to find it tonight but couldn't . I think it was written by a deceased member named leonard . Any body know how I can find it? I'm 78 yrs old and not as computer literate as some of you .

Look at the following :
Service and Repair of LIONEL 313 Bascule Bridge by the late Richard J. Luppold
I have reattached the document on that site to make it easier for you.

Thank you very much, I figured out how to print the parts that i needed. I have been on this forum since 1990 and am always impressed at the knowledge and helpfulness of the members. It will be very satisfying to again see the bridge that I played with as a child working again.

Once you have downloaded the file, you can save it to your computer desktop. You will then have access to any part of the document from your computer whenever you need to refer to it.
Thanks for that tip.I printed it and took it to my work bench. I started the re assembly today. I'm having some difficulty keeping the wires and crosspieces together Things don't seem to line up properly. when I retrieved it from my parents basement many years ago it was in very bad shape. I began some repairs then and shelved it for a long time. I'll have to recheck my former work to see if it was done correctly. I am in process of tripling the size of my layout and want to use the bridge on it. If any has any hints on reassembly they will be welcomed. The people on this forum are the best.
