I picked up a Lionel 334 Dispatch Board recently.  I'm trying to wire it with a #90 controller.  I have transformer ground going to post #1, Transformer power going to post #2 through the #90, and transformer power going to post #3.  I think that's the way I interpret the instructions.  The problem that I'm having is that as soon as I attach power to post #3 the unit starts operating.  I think power to post #3 should only power the lights.

Inside the unit is a copper contactor that kind of resembles the heat delay switch used on the water tower but I don't really see the heating element.

I can't find a repair document anywhere on the web.  If someone has the repair document, please let me know.

I did look for the documentation on the Olsen web site but apparently that web site ownership has expired.  It would seem to make sense for someone to pick that up if possible.  I would be willing to help with keeping the site up and current, if anyone else might be interested.

Thanks,

LionelFlyer

Hi Larry,

Thank you.  That was exactly what I needed.  The disconnect switch is controlled by the movement of the carriage and isn't electrical.  I found that the switch, which is attached to the piece holding the posts, was pushed down.  This kept the carriage from disconnecting the switch on the return.  It was a simple matter to reposition the plate holding the posts and now it works properly.
