Lionel 6-11133 2-8-0 Consolidation - Smoke unit upgrade - Call for the techs!

I have this engine and love it - probably the engine I run the most. Even though I have Legacy steam there is something about this one. I would like to attempt upgrading the smoke unit to a fan driven unit. Is this possible and if so what would I buy? The one other note is this does have cruise just not odyssey - one of the boards form ERR just not sure which one.
