Could you help me identify what goes in the 2 holes on top of the roof other than the smokestack.

The black braces are out of stock at Lionel. You could buy a couple of silver ones then paint them black yourself. Those would be Lionel 620-7637-004.
Thank you Steims for the quick response. Unfortunately they are not the parts I'm looking for. They are 2 small separate parts 1 on the right side & 1 on the left side. they are not part of the smokestack or catwalk just empty holes in the roof. I need to know what goes in them. Thanks again

Check e-bay, someone has this caboose for sale and has many pictures of the entire caboose including the roof. I see the two items that I think you are talking about, but then again there is another caboose with the same P/N and has two different items on top of the roof, it also has a different road number but the same P/N. I have posted picture of both. HTH

You must be looking for these 2 vents. I believe one is for the kitchen and the other is for the toilet. They typically come wrapped up with the smoke fluid tube taped to the styrofoam insert. Be sure to check there. I have not seen these pieces listed for separate sale.
