Just picked up a Lionel 6-28223 BNSF SD70 Diesel that is Command Ready. What board or boards do I need to obtain to make it TMCC ready. Have the manual bit no mention of board or boards needed.

Sometimes it take more than one board. What does the manual say? You may have to remove all thats in there and go with a complete ERR upgrade.

Here are the original two “command ready” upgrade kits from Lionel.
The basic upgrade kit was just a R2LC board and an antenna.
TRAINZ does carry the ERR R4LC board.

The manual doesn't say squat about upgrade. Guess Ill take the shell off and see what's inside.

I would suggest if you have another TMCC loco with modular boards that you use those boards to try and see what works. First with the R2LC. If that alone works then you can get a ERR R4LC from Scott. If no sounds you will need more.
