Recently, After a motor maintained I was delighted to see this magnificent locomotive  run again after so many decades. The original owner said he had no idea as to when he ran it and the set that came with it.

i lubed the loco parts with Label lubricants after removing caked on decades old mess. The armature is smooth to turn.  I ran the engine on my layout without the body and it ran well, smooth and quiet. Then, I placed the body on it and it’s quite noisy like the massive die cast body is reverberating a resistant sound. The noise if far worse on my 031 curves. Anyone have ideas? I did replace all the washers carefully as per Greenbergs Lionel trains repair book.
Kind of stumped.

would it help Possibly if a film of it is made as an example of the sound?
